STUD is situated approximately 1 ½ hours driving
time from Canberra and 4 hours driving time from Sydney. The hub of the RAPALONG operation is based in Young with two additional breeding properties being located in the Greenethorpe district and Maimuru district. |

| Owned and operated by David
and Rebecca McMillan with their daughter Marina,
the RAPALONG herd was founded on the original
Mandalong herd developed by the breed’s creator, Rick Pisaturo
(OA), when the founding stud was disbanded in the mid 1990s.
The expanding RAPALONG herd presently comprises of 300 registered purebred females. Taking a commercial approached to the stud enterprise, the RAPALONG herd is run on high production pastures with weaners and bulls being finished on improved pastures. At RAPALONG we breed well structured cattle designed to carry a bulk of beef for the least amount of effort. |
